  • What will the charge level be when I check in?

    The car will be received with a minimum of 70% battery or more. You are not expected to return it fully charged, however we ask that you return it no lower than 70%.

  • Do I have to pay for Supercharging?

    Yes. During the trip we incur the supercharging fees/idle fees. At the end of the trip we will charge you for the supercharging fees/idle fees, this will be reimbursed from the security deposit. If you have paid for unlimited supercharging prior to your booking, you will not be charged any supercharging fees, but will still be responsible for all idle fees incurred from Tesla.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    While you may cancel your reservation at anytime and receive a refund, there will be a $50 cancellation fee. In the event you have to cancel please email or call us right away. Please allow 5-7 business days to see the refund on the original payment method used when booking.

  • How many miles can I drive?

    Your daily rate includes 200 miles per day. In the event that you exceed the daily included mileage, we will charge you $0.55 per mile over. You can always select Unlimited Mileage as an extra for $90 per day.

  • Do you charge a security deposit?

    We require a $500 security deposit. If there are no additional charges, we refund the deposit at the end of the trip (damage, smoking fees, supercharging etc.). Please allow 5-7 business days to see the security deposit refunded to the original payment method used when booking.

  • Can I drive out of state?

    Yes! If you do go out of state we require you use the Tesla navigation system at all times to ensure you do not run out of battery.

  • Is there a smoking fee?

    We charge a $250 smoking fee. No smoking of any kind including cigarettes, marijuana, vapes, or any other substance.

  • Form of identification

    Driver's licenses accepted in the U.S. are:
    Any license issued by any U.S. state, territory or possession.
    A license issued by a Canadian province.
    A license issued by a country that participated in the 1949 Geneva convention on Road Traffic or the 1943 Convention on the Regulation of Inter-American Automobile Traffic.
    A license issued by a country that has a reciprocal agreement with the U.S.

  • Can I add an additional driver?

    There is no fee, however, you must submit their information and receive approval via email.

  • What happens if I run the battery down to zero?

    If you run the battery down to zero it is your responsibility to tow the car to the nearest supercharger. If any damage occurs to the battery, which is highly possible, you are also responsible for those additional fees. If you abandon the car you will immediately be charged a $500 fee.

  • What criteria do we have for renters driving history?

    All renters, and anyone else planning to drive the rental car, will be required to email us a valid driver’s license showing that the driver meets the minimum age restrictions and has a clean driving record. The license must be current and remain valid through the entire duration of the rental. Your LV Tesla rental eligibility will be based on whether you meet the following criteria:

    Valid license: Your license cannot be suspended, expired, revoked, canceled, or surrendered.
    No Reckless Driving: Renters cannot have one or more citations of reckless driving within the last 36 months.
    No Intoxicated Driving: Renting a car with a DUI, DWAI, or DWI in the last 48 months is prohibited.
    No Auto Theft: Drivers may not have been in possession of a stolen vehicle.
    No More Than 3 Moving Violations: This includes seat belt violations.
    Fewer Than 3 Accidents: Drivers can have no more than 3 accidents in 36 months.
    Temporary License: This type of license is acceptable only if there are no restrictions during the rental period.

  • What happens if I lose the key?

    Depending on the type of key that is lost, our lost key fee is $50-$200.

  • Can I extend my trip?

    If you'd like to extend your trip please contact us as soon as possible so we can check if your rental car has availability for an extension. We cannot guarantee an extension if there is an upcoming trip.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept credit and debit cards only. We do not accept cash.
